My daughter is 9 years old. She started growth hormone treatment 1 year ago. The results have been fantastic. It has made a big difference. Firstly, she has grown. she was growing at about 2 cm a year. In the last year she has grown about 1 cm per month. People keep commenting on how she has 'shot up'. It has helped with her muscle tone too. she now has muscles! Although she is 9, she is in a school class with children who are 6/7. She is the same height as them. It was a big decision to make but I feel that it has been worth it. Have you got in contact with the charity Child Growth Foundation - www.heightmatters.org.uk. They were very helpful to me.
